Pro Medico


The Association for Medical Continuous Professional Development in Finland (Pro Medico) supports the professional development and continuous medical education of Finnish physicians. It maintains the association’s training calendar of continuous professional development (the CPD calendar), and engages in development projects with medical organizations and health care organizations.

Mastery of medical expertise requires a constant updating of knowledge and skills. The amount of research information increases, the structures of health care are under major changes and the population continues to age. In the Hippocratic oath we commit ourselves to sustaining high-quality professional skills and to evaluating the quality of our work. Maintenance of our professional skills therefore requires continuous learning.

The CPD Calendar (in Finnish) includes up-to-date information about continuing medical education (CME) activities and other professional development training.
